Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and outgoing Outside Sales Representative to drive sales for our line of robes, pajamas, and other wedding gifts. This successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential retail/wholesale clients, building relationships with them, and closing sales in a unique market.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking

  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and building trust through product knowledge and industry expertise

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product line, as well as industry trends and competitive offerings

  • Create and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds revenue targets, while also managing expenses and staying within budget

  • Negotiate and close sales deals in a highly competitive market, while maintaining pricing integrity and profitability

  • Participate in trade shows, events, and other marketing activities to build brand awareness and generate leads

  • Continuously track and report on sales performance and customer feedback, using data to inform sales strategies and tactics

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including customer service, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred

  • Proven track record of successful sales performance preferably in the apparel or wedding industry, but not necessary

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and persuade customers

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome obstacles to sales success

  • Knowledge of sales best practices, including territory management, pipeline management, and CRM software

Compensation and Scheduling:

This is a part-time, highly flexible role that can be done on your own hours and remotely. The more you work, the more sales you will make, and the more you will get paid. There will be a minimum of one meeting per week to discuss any struggles or challenges that may arise and talk about sales strategy and game plans. 

​

Given the extreme flexibility of this role, our team member will be paid by commission with the opportunity for bonuses. Commission will be based on the sales volume sold.
